Privacy
The starter application is designed to process a link without creating a public history or permanent media library.
Submitted URLs
A URL is sent to the application server when you request inspection. The server validates the domain and passes the URL to the configured media extractor. The application code does not write submitted URLs or downloaded video files to a database.
Technical logs
DigitalOcean, reverse proxies, and application logs may temporarily record IP addresses, timestamps, response codes, user agents, and error details for security and reliability. Configure retention in your hosting account before production use.
Download tokens
Available formats are represented by signed download tokens. Tokens contain the source URL and expire after ten minutes. They should not be shared publicly.
Third-party platforms
The source platform receives network requests from the application infrastructure when metadata or media is requested. Its own privacy policy and terms apply independently.
